三對象目的
Etymology
三 (삼) [sam] – three
對象 (대상) [daesang] – object
目的 (목적) [mogjeog] – a purpose, a goal, an objective

As a result of origin-division-union action, four positions are formed: the origin at the center, the subject partner and the object partner, and their union. Any one of the four positions may assume the position of subject partner and engage the other three as its object partners. When each of the four then acts as the subject partner and enters into give and take action with the other three revolving around it, they fulfill the three object purpose.

The three object purpose is necessary to create a four positioned foundation and to begin a circular movement.

God’s love is the subject in relation to all other kinds of love, finding its manifestation in the four position foundation, which is established when each of its participants, having created a relationship of love with the other three, realizes the three object purpose.

Where does love come from? It comes from the object. Without an object, love will not appear. From people’s point of view, a man’s partner is a woman, and for a parent’s partner is children. Without the object, love is not realized. We call it “the love of three objects.”

After a man and a woman would reach perfection, they would have to become husband and wife and give life to children. Then they would be able to experience three kinds of love in their relationship with the three objects: parental love (love of the first object), marital love (love of the second object), and children’s love (love of the third object). Only then would they fulfill the three object purpose and create a four positioned foundation. In this way, the purpose for which God created man would be accomplished.
