Goodness is what the Universe protects and sustains. Goodness encapsulates freedom and peace, but also life and power. Nothing in heaven or on earth can subdue goodness. If we follow the way of goodness, we fear no one, not even the president of the country. Whatever laws are enforced against us will not affect us. This is why secular laws do not reach the standard of conscience. Consequently, such laws cannot be enforced by the power of good.

Always and everywhere, everyone, including even evil people, has one thing in common: an original soul that seeks to follow the path of good and rejects evil. However, people’s understanding of the good and the way to achieve it varies according to place, time, and their personal views. This also multiplies the conflicts that make up history. Nevertheless, the goal of all people is the same: to find and fulfill goodness.

Why do we need to do good works? To do good, even if it requires sacrifice, and sacrifice means giving of ourselves. What is self-giving good? It allows us to occupy a position where we can get in touch with the source of heavenly good fortune, the Subject of all powers. It enables us to be nourished by infinite power. The good person does well because he acquires infinite power.

Never regret a good deed done, and never think that all your good deeds are throwaway goods.

For what does goodness come into play? Not for me personally. Nor should man eat for himself, but for the Universe. And you must not marry for your own good. You must aim yourself at the good of the whole world. One who does this may appear to be an unremarkable person, although in fact there is a zest in him.
