靈魂 (영혼) [yeonghon] – soul
師 (스승) [seuseung] – teacher

Our closest teacher is our soul. Our soul is dearer than our closest friends and even parents. So, while we live, we must often ask our soul, “Am I living right?” Anyone can hear the voice of their soul, if they understand that the soul is our master, and by polishing it, they will have a close relationship throughout their lives. When we hear the cry of our soul, we must immediately stop what we are doing. Everything that makes the soul suffer destroys a person.

To polish our soul to a state of crystal clearness, we need to communicate with it directly. This should be done in an environment where we are far from this world, alone with our soul. It is during prayer and meditation that you can get closer to your soul and take possession of it. By removing ourselves from the noise around us and allowing our thoughts to settle, we can see the deepest corners of our soul.

But to reach the depths where our soul is, it will take a lot of time and effort, it will not happen overnight.
