Etymology

基準 (기준) [gijun] – standart

People have different internal and external qualities. Their values differ, as do their ideological standards. As their ideological standards are different, their spiritual standards are also different. And since their spiritual standards are different, the standards of behavior are also different.

Even God cannot set an absolute standard of virtue without setting a standard of external values. Prophets and patriots of the past were chosen for this.

Why should descendants honor famous people or saints? Because all historical events are intertwined in their hearts, which are closely related to both good and difficult moments. To achieve the goal of good, we must work diligently on their basis. Otherwise, we will not be able to find a way to achieve our goal and establish the necessary relationships.

In the environment where we now live in comfort and joy, the voice of the tearful prayer of our ancestors is still preserved. Although they had already passed away, their prayers from the depths of the shimjeon, when they desperately clung to God, remained in His heart.

Although we are the descendants of sinful history, the heart of a person is connected to the heart of Heaven, so many people honor the saints and follow the path they followed. Such a desire for original value is natural.
